We are a Community Group, formed in 2021 by Avinash Waghray, for volunteers to help make Kirkliston village prettier, more inviting, full of bloom, and a place we are proud to call home. We aim to install floral displays and planters, as well as tidying up streets, and engage the entire community in our activity.

We cover the entire village of Kirkliston. starting with the Main Street.

We aim to:

Install floral displays and planters

Tidy up streets, getting rid of litter and weeds

Build new green spaces to encourage bio diversity

Create opportunities for multiple generations to participate

Work with like minded groups within the community including Friends of Pike’s Pool and Kirkliston Community Garden to knowledge and expertise share

 

We hope this will:

Engage the public in environmental issues

Encourage community spirit

Improve mental well being

Create opportunities for learning new skills

We are a non profit, community organisation run by volunteers, and follow a constitution and code of conduct.
